Weather Policy

The safety of our players is our main concern at Vikings FC. So our coaches will have the final say regarding cancellations due to inclement weather. If a session or event is in doubt due to weather, we advise you to keep an eye on the WhatsApp group you’re in, as our coaches will inform you via the group 30 minutes before the session commences.

As a basic guide please note:

T8  – All sessions are cancelled

T3  – We will go ahead with an amended programme to suit the conditions, the coach at the venue will cancel if the pitch becomes unplayable or dangerous.

Amber Rain Storm Warning: Sessions potentially off, please check your WhatsApp group at least 30 minutes for notifications.

Red or Black Rain Storm Warning: Please check the WhatsApp group at least 30 minutes before the session starts, high chance of cancellation.

During the summer months, please remember to bring plenty of water for your child. A hat on particularly hot and sunny days may also be advisable.
